This past Friday night was "Relay for Life" at the College Park High School track. It was originally supposed to be back in April, but had to be rescheduled due to all the torrential rain we had. We didn't get to stay very long since we had all three kiddos, but some of my co-workers stayed ALL night long which is amazing! Staying all night symbolizes what it is like for people who go through all the ups and downs of having cancer - and, that staying determined to fight the disease is a must.........no matter how hard things might get. "Relay for Life" took on a whole new meaning this past year when one of my teammates was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and she is in her early 30's. We are so thankful that she is doing well and in remission now.
