We have officially joined FOTW!

It's official! We finally were able to join the church we've been attending since last August. They offer these "Membership 101" classes and it seems like everytime we'd try to attend one, something would come up and prevent us from going. It was a lengthy class (2 1/2 hours), but so informative and interesting. We are excited to be a part of something so big! Here's a link to their website if you want to check it out http://www.fotw.org/main/ They have alot of information on their upcoming Easter services and activities.
We also finished our 6 week Bible study tonight on The Relationship Principles of Jesus. It has been a great time of Bible study and fellowship that I have looked forward to each week. We're all kind of sad that it is coming to an end. Our group has vowed to try and meet regularly to help keep each other accountable. Hopefully, we'll be able to do it!

On another note, Relay for Life is quickly approaching in April and Stephen and I are going to participate again this year. Our goal is to raise $100 each. So far, I have raised $50 and poor Stephen hasn't gotten any donations yet. However, there is still plenty of time! If you go to the link below you can find our names listed on the team, Teachers Against Cancer, and make a donation online if you wish. If I can find 5 more people to donate $10 each, then I will have reached my goal. You can read more about the program on their website, but it is a great charity event to raise money for those battling cancer.

Laundry with Logan!

There is a little fellow and his name is Logan Wade.....
He's so very good at laundry, I will never need a maid!

Top ten reasons to hire my little man!!!!

Number 1: I can open the
door all by myself!

Number 2: I always peek inside
to make sure it's ready to go!

Number 3: If I see some "stragglers"
(clothes still left behind) I will gladly
go in after them for you - at no
extra charge!!!

For really big jobs, sometimes
I have to go in deep!

Number 4: Getting back
out is no problemo!

Sometimes I do have to
stop and take a little rest.....

Whew.....that was a workout
for sure!

Number 5: I have other
methods of getting the job
done. There is no place I
cannot reach!

Number 6: I'm great at
pulling - making a mess is
my specialty......

Especially when the
clothes are still wet.

Do you have a problem
with that?
Number 7: I always check
to make sure everything is
working properly.
Number 8: I know how to slam
the door over and over to work
the kinks out.
No hands!!!!!!!!!!
All done!!!
Number 9: Sometimes
I can become cranky and
downright irritable.

Number 10: But, despite that,
you won't mind because I'm just so darn
cute and irresistible! Who could resist
this mischievious face??????????
Here's some video of me. I thought it was so
funny how I could get this balloon to bounce
off the back of my little head - I'm so talented!

is so great - it won't be long until
it's Logan's turn!

Pictures from our trip to Jewett last
Friday to visit my brother's family
and my grandparents - Stephen took the
day off to go with us which was soooooo nice!

Stephen and my brother trying to race each other on the girl's scooters - yes, these are grown men and it is a miracle that no one got hurt!

My grandfather and Logan
got this biggest kick out them
trying to race! I love this picture!

Logan thought he was "big stuff"......

Twilight party at my friend Amanda's house on Saturday night.......
Love the vampire effect, Sarah.....

All the girls who had never seen
the movie before......

All the girls who had seen the movie before....

Unfortunately, Kim's car was
involved in a hit and run accident
outside the house in the street.
Not good!

And last, but not least, here's me
using the accident scene to reinact
the part in Twilight when Edward saves
Bella from the out of control van - he uses
his super vampire powers to keep the van
away (just as seen here!) Yes, I think I'm a
little obsessed with Edward!

Logan and Koop!

Logan had a playdate with his friend Kooper on Tuesday while I was at the doctor. I was glad that his mom, Jill, offered to keep him for me - Logan doesn't get to play with boys very much so I know he loved having some boy time! He's smothered by his two "mother hen" sisters at home and surrounded by all girls when he goes to Ms. Cheryl's house during the week. So, boy time is much needed! Jill said he had a great time and didn't even seem to notice I was gone. I'm sure all the neat toys helped distract him!

The girls and I went shopping today with my mom and we had a blast! We even saw Kooper, Jill, and Kooper's grandma at the mall! MawMaw bought all three kiddos brand new Easter outfits and shoes that are matching in color.....soooooooo cute! We also found some really cute and reasonable spring outfits at The Children's Place - I love that store!!! The girls also got an early birthday present from MawMaw and Papaw today as well - roller skates! They have never even put on a pair of skates, but all their neighbor friends have some so they have really been wanting to get some. They tried on several pair and practiced rolling around in the aisle at Academy. That caught the attention of a few employees. However, what really caught their attention was when yours truly put on a pair and gave them a spin up and down the aisles - it was quite hilarious and the sales associates thought it was very amusing. I used to be a pretty good skater back in the day (considering that's pretty much all there was to do in Huntsville - hanging out at the Silver Wings Skating Rink). I could race with the best of 'em! The girls could not fathom the fact that their own mother could actually skate - imagine that! We had our first skating lesson tonight and it went pretty well considering they've never skated at all. Stephen and I were definitely nervous about it considering the fact that Leah has broken her arm twice and had surgery on it less than 2 months ago. I can't let her live in fear of trying anything new though. That's one of the hard things I've learned about being a mom - sometimes you have to give them their wings and let them fly - with caution of course! Speaking of trying new things, both girls have said they want to try out for our neighborhood swim team this year. I'm encouraging them to do it. To make the team they have to be able to swim the length of the pool in one minute. My fear is that one will make it and the other won't, but they are both pretty good swimmers so I think they both can do it. I'll have to let you know how that goes - wish them luck!
